Working for 2 years at the sustainable clothing brand Tamay & Me, up until February 2024, has allowed me to experience all aspects of industry work on a small scale. My main responsibility was running the social media and marketing, allowing me to become confident in using a range of software, like Shopify. It showed the importance of keeping a clear aesthetic and presenting the brands voice to the target market. After a year and a half I progressed into wholesale management which allowed me to interact with other businesses and become confident is talking professionally. I also supported events which allowed me to interact with customers and sell the products. Over Christmas I helped at the Selvedge fair in Marylebone, which was a great opportuntity to network and meet over small businesses.
